Fintify – PRIVACY POLICY

‘Fintify’ is a personal finance management app (“App”, ”service”) owned and managed by Qbroot Financial Solutions Pvt Ltd (“we”, “us” or “Company”).

We are fully committed to protecting your data privacy rights as prescribed in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR Act) and in clear terms explain what we use your information for.

This Privacy policy (“Policy”) tells you about what personal data we may collect from users on the Fintify app and website, what we may use it for, and when we may need to share it with others. This policy also seeks to explain how we use cookies in Fintify

By using the App and Website, you are accepting and consenting to the practices described in this Policy Detailed terms and Conditions can be found on the app and website, which should be read alongside this policy.

What do we mean by personal data?

Personal identifiable data: We understand personal identifiable information as being any information you provide when you use the app, fill in registration forms, submit comments to the website, or send emails or other forms of correspondence to us, that could be used to uniquely identify you or your location. This includes your name, address, email address and phone number.

As a part of the Fintify app, we may also collect technical information such as IP Address, operating system and device details and other in-app analytics.

User Financial data: As a part of the Fintify service we may also collect data from the providers that you link on the app. This data is masked, i.e. key data that can identify the user such as Account name and number, is masked out even before it reaches Fintify by our aggregation partner Yodlee Inc.

We may use this data to analyse investment, spending and saving patterns using computer algorithms to provide you with data analytics for the information we receive from your financial account provider.

We may also collect log-in details for your accounts with banks, building societies and other payment providers, which may be used to access your accounts so we can provide the App services

Where is your personal data stored?

The personal and financial data we collect from you is stored on secure Amazon cloud based servers located in London, United Kingdom. These servers may be securely accessed from outside the United Kingdom when necessary for the provision of customer support, incident handling or as necessary to troubleshoot the App service, or to comply with legal requirements. By agreeing to our App Terms and this Privacy Policy, you explicitly consent to this storage, access and processing.

Fintify takes the security of your personal information very seriously and employs strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access including ensuring that our third party technology providers also have appropriate measures to safeguard your data

Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, the security of your personal data transmitted to us, to or from any other third party, either by email or via the App, cannot be guaranteed. Any transmission is at your own risk. You acknowledge and agree that we shall not be responsible for any unauthorised use, distribution, damage or destruction of personal data, except to the extent we are required to accept such responsibility under the data protection laws or other relevant laws in the jurisdictions that we operate in.

Who do we share your personal data with?

We will only share your personal data with a very limited group of people and that too only with your consent. We may share information about you with suppliers that we engage to help us provide certain services and/or functionality. We will use reasonable endeavours to control and be responsible for the use of your information by such suppliers.
By using the service, you consent to the transfer of your personal information outside of the European Economic Area, which may not provide the same protection for such information as the European Economic Area provides.

In the case that Fintify hands over its business to another organisation, you will be notified and your personal data would be passed to them so that they may continue providing the same service to you. You will, at all times, have the option to discontinue your engagement with Fintify and to delete all your information available with us.

App Usage Data: We may allow third parties to provide in-app analytics services on our behalf. Such third parties may track and examine the use of the App to prepare reports on its activities. This personal technical data may also be used to track or analyse data.

What are your rights?

Your data is your property and you have the right to do with it as you please. At any time in the service you have the option to review the usage of your personal information and the sharing of your data. You can also change or deny Fintify access to use your data for marketing purposes.
You also have the right to be forgotten i.e. Fintify will no longer hold any information, personal or financial data if you choose to delete your profile from the Fintify service platform.

These rights can be exercised in accordance with the applicable data protection laws.
You can write to us at support@fintify.com and state clearly any personal data related requests.
Any access request may be subject to a fee (typically £8-10) to meet our costs in providing you with details of your personal data.

Changes To This Privacy Policy

Any changes made to this version of the Privacy Policy will be available on the website and App at all times. In case of very significant changes or regulatory requirements to seek consent to changes in the Privacy Policy, we may notify you by either sending you an email and/or use in-App notifications.
